Unethical behaviour by adobe

Next time, you should read the terms and conditions that came with your plan. The early termination fee is clearly mentioned. It is a compensation for taking the pricier annual plan vs the more expensive monthly plan, and not keeping the subscription to the final month.

Contact Adobe customer care and see what they can do for you. Adobe customer care can be contacted by beginning a secure chat session at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen. Pop-up blockers need to be disabled, you need to accept cookies! If the chat window fails to open, or is non-responsive, use a different device and/or browser to start the interaction.

If you get contacted by direct message from a person, claiming to be an Adobe employee, look at that profile and check if they bear the “Adobe Employee” marking under their name. for many apps adobe offers a monthly subscription. for all these apps, they also offer an annual plan with monthly payments.

to encourage that one year commitment, they offer a discounted monthly fee. of course, it would make no sense to allow cancellations without penalty before that one year term expires.
