Unfair cancellation policy from Adobe

I got a Adobe Acrobat Pro plan and I already cancelled it today. Suddenly Adobe gave me a warning that I will be charged $46 more for cancellation, even I paid the subscription monthly. I checked the Users’ Agreements which no where specify the fine (if any)

Thanks for posting, @magical_magnetism0c6b, and thank you to @Manan Joshi and @kglad for helping clarify the situation.

I reviewed the account associated with your community profile and can confirm that the Acrobat Pro subscription that started on January 31, 2026, was canceled today. I also see an active AI Assistant for Acrobat subscription that began on January 20, 2026.

I understand how frustrating it can be to cancel a subscription and then receive an email suggesting that an additional fee may apply, especially when you expected the plan to renew on a month-to-month basis.

Your Acrobat Pro subscription was purchased as an annual plan paid monthly. These plans include a one-year commitment, and an early termination fee may apply if the plan is canceled before the annual term is completed. You can review Adobe's subscription terms and cancellation policy here:

I also noticed that your AI Assistant for Acrobat subscription remains active. If you are no longer using that service, you'll need to cancel it separately, as canceling Acrobat Pro does not automatically cancel AI Assistant for Acrobat. Instructions for canceling a subscription can be found here:
