uninstall and reinstall adobe 8 professional

Good morning
I have a PC with Adobe 8 Professional installed, but it has stopped working. I would like to uninstall and reinstall it, but I no longer have a license. How can I recover it, or how can I uninstall and reinstall without losing the license?

    Even if you use an unauthenticated version of the installer, you will need a serial number to obtain it.

    Do NOT uninstall it, the chances of getting it working ever again are very small. Your original disks can no longer be activated, and Adobe made a replacement, then removed it from their site. 

    Be sure you're using it on a compatible system like Windows XP.
