Usual for Adobe to bundle the Pro (more expensive) with AI Assistant subscription unclearly with a free trial, but upon cancellation referring to only one? I feel I have been sorely misled and have a charge despite thinking I had cancelled.

15 Jul: free trial signup unknowingly included Pro & AI Assistant. 21 Jul: cancelled Pro. 23 Jul: charged £30 anyway. 17 Aug: noticed charge; agent Shaik deflecting. Want refund for unused Pro; feel scammed, won't return

Thank you for sharing your feedback and experience, @Impressive_photo9015. I am sorry you did not find more value in our services.

I can see why the situation was confusing. After reviewing the account history, two separate subscriptions were involved.

The AI Assistant for Acrobat trial was started on July 15 and canceled on July 21. A separate Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription was then started on July 23. The charge you referenced was associated with that Acrobat Pro subscription.

As a courtesy, a refund has already been approved and processed under case ADB-46664828-W7F7 following the cancellation of the Acrobat Pro subscription. Please don’t hesitate to use the steps listed at https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/customer-support-portal.html if you have any additional questions or concerns.

the ai for acrobat option is unchecked by default (at least, when i look) you have to consciously select it to add it to your trial/purchase.
