Question

Whats the point in having a PassKey, when you still allow us to sign in with a password? Passkeys are to replace a password for better security, is it not?

I want to be able to remove my password as an option to sign in. I find using passkeys to be better protection, especially if there is a data breach that includes my passwords, email, etc.

I noticed when I changed my password, it signed me out of everywhere, when I signed back in it sent a code to my email, but I have Verify with email turned off in my sign in options.

If you must have a password,  then please make the next step a passkey as the verification process. I don’t trust emails or sms codes.

Another thing, how come passkeys are saved as “Other_Windows_Chrome” that scares me, since I used my phone in a password manager app to save my passkey. Could it at least let us edit this, so we can say Mobile App instead?
