Question

When verifying with SheerID it thinks I am a student and not an instructor.

I have had a Student and Teacher subscription for years as an instructor. I just got an email from Adobe telling me I have “graduated’ and will revert to the regular plan. I went to verify my ongoing status with SheerID but it wanted student details although I am (and have always been) a professor at a University. Writing to Sheer Id they replied:

Please be advised that SheerID is unable to modify the affiliation type on an existing verification request. To verify your status as a professor or teacher, you must submit a new verification request with the correct educator affiliation.

...and they provided a step by step to buy a new/correct subscription and re-verify. Following those steps the system will not let me proceed  because it states I already have Creative Cloud Pro.

Who can I contact to help me get through the Verify process?

    Thank you for posting, Lavermeer.

I appreciate your long-term use of our services and your service to teaching formative minds new skills. I apologize for the problems you have encountered with the verification process. We have been updating the process for education eligibility, so it may differ from the last time you had to confirm that you were still an active educator, Lavermeer.

Please see https://adobe.ly/4h2UMlo for information on how to submit your proof of eligibility. You should be able to select your role while submitting the proof of eligibility. If this isn't happening, you can try using a different web browser or device. The current browser may be blocking the role selection between student and educator.

If you have already tried a different browser, you will want to work with Sheer to resolve the issue with their submission form. We do rely on them to confirm your eligibility status, Lavermeer.

Please update this public discussion thread if you have any additional questions, Lavermeer. ^JW

I have tried this in Chrome, Brave and Safari. There is no selection. possible using the provided link in the original email. Contacting Sheer resulted in the above comment that they could not change affiliation type. I tried re purchasing the subscription as suggest by Sheer but Adobe will not let me do that.

I could try using the student form and submitting employee id but who know what kind of disaster that might cause
