Why Am I still being charged after cancelling my 7 day free trial within 12 hours

I was charged today, after having cancelled my 7 day free trial for the adobe product within 12 hours.

The software does not match my needs and was unable to do what needed to be done.

    Thread Summary

A user signed up for a 7-day free trial that included two separate products — Adobe Acrobat Pro and AI Assistant for Acrobat — and cancelled within 12 hours because the software did not meet their needs. Despite cancelling, the user was charged and sought clarification on why the charge occurred.

    • Jeffrey_A_Wright (Legend), marked as the correct answer, confirmed that the Acrobat subscription had been cancelled but the separate AI Assistant for Acrobat commitment was still active, and pointed to the article for cancelling that remaining subscription. He also noted that refund and cancellation details are covered in Adobe's subscription terms, and that any refund issued would take up to 14 days to process.
    • kglad (Community Expert) advised checking the Adobe account directly to see which subscriptions remained active.
    • A similar user in the thread reported the same experience, noting that when checking the account only one subscription (AI Assistant for Acrobat) was visible, while a separate Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription was still charged. kglad directed that user to the resolution steps in their existing post.

    Solutions suggested by Adobe

    1. Check your Adobe account to see every active subscription and add-on, since a free trial can include more than one product (such as Acrobat Pro and AI Assistant for Acrobat), each billed and cancelled separately.
      https://account.adobe.com/plans
    2. Cancel each active subscription individually, because cancelling one product does not automatically cancel the others included in the same trial or order.
      https://helpx.adobe.com/account/individual/subscriptions-and-plans/renewals-and-cancellations/cancel-adobe-subscription.html
    3. Review Adobe's refund policy to confirm your eligibility — most plans qualify for a full refund if cancelled within 14 days of the initial order, and any approved refund can take up to 14 days to appear.

    Hi, please assist.

I checked my account with Adobe to cancel my subscription a day before my free trial ends. It showed me only 1 subscription which the AI Assistant for Acrobat. Now I was charged for a different subscription for Adobe Acrobat Pro. If this was display together with the other this could have been avoided. I want a refund for this other subscription. You were not being transparent when I checked my the account yesterday.
