Question

Why is my Google Play subscription suspended?

Hello,

I have had a monthly subscription to the Lightroom Mobile version since 2021. My last payment was processed through Google Play on June 7.

Today, I noticed in the app that my subscription has been suspended and that I am being offered the option to start a new subscription. However, the new subscription costs more than three times what I have been paying. Until now, my monthly fee was 9.99 RON, but the new price is 37.99 RON per month.

I was not notified in any way about any upcoming changes, and my subscription had been renewing automatically without any issues.

I would appreciate it if you could explain what happened and why there has been such a significant price increase.

Additionally, I couldn't find any information about how much cloud storage is included with the 37.99 RON/month subscription.

Thank you in advance for your clarification.

Thank you for posting to this public discussion forum, @Cara2112.

I apologize for any confusion you have encountered while maintaining your subscription to use our services.

I can confirm that the subscription you started last month was canceled. I don’t know if there was a price increase in your country, but please see https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7018481 for information on how to restart a canceled subscription through the Google Play Store, as suggested by @kglad.

Please update this discussion thread if you have any additional questions, @Cara2112.

As I mentioned before, I've had this subscription since 2021. It has been billed monthly without interruption, and I have never requested to cancel it or made any changes to it.

In the meantime, a few hours ago, the payment for this month's subscription was deducted from my account at the same monthly rate I have always been paying.

I also contacted Google Play, and they confirmed that my subscription is still active on their side. However, I still can't access any of the premium features because the Adobe app continues to show my subscription as suspended.

According to Google Play, this month's payment is currently marked as pending, so I'll wait a few more days to see if the issue resolves itself.

Thank you for your support. I was surprised to hear from Google Play that the subscription prices displayed in the app are apparently set by them as a third party, rather than by Adobe.
