Will I need to pay a $59.99 a Month Until Christ Returns or will I ever Own the software?

I use Photoshop, In Design and Adobe Pro Only.

I started my Adobe experience ar $29.99/Mo and after a year it jumped to $59.99/Mo.

I apparently have cloud and several other softwares (that I don't use)

I have carefully read through all of the EULAS and can find nothing about ever owning this software outright.

So hypothetically, after paying this amount for 3 years, I will have paid $2159.00

But I can never own the software and will never be free of that monthly fee.

I am on Soc Sec. and it is painful to shell out this much. O

f course I am 70yrs so it may not be an issue for that much longer.

I love Photoshop and use it daily.

I don't know what other options I have.

Apparently You can't buy stand alone software anymore.

Whose Idea was this and why?

Sadly, You cannot precisely pick and choose which programs you want in your program bundle. 

It is a fairly limited 'Menu'

You can choose which ones are activated but not which ones are included.

As noted above, I use the 3 Programs (Photoshop, In Design, Adobe Pro)

I have seen nothing like $10/mo unless it is for students.

So you can inactivate programs you don't use, but you do NOT get any discount or reduction in your monthly fee.

Although the software is valuable, after year of paying for this, a person could wind up paying tens of thousands of dollars, essentially paying much, much more than the stand alone software used to cost.

If this is a corporate model, I am a pretty sure I know what the motivaton is.

It begins with 'G' and ends with 'D'

the photography plan (pre-paid) and acrobat and indesign is the least expensive plan for the 3 apps you use.
