Question

Wrongfully charged. Refund?

I recently contacted Adobe Support on Twitter and someone managed to help me sort out what was going on. He redirected me to the support homepage to contact someone about billing, but because I am using an enterprise account as a student it keeps telling me to contact my school's administrator.

I was charged a total of $90 despite being under my university's account as a current student. My own school's IT department told me that the charges should not have been given to me and that they cannot do anything about them on their end.

The representative I spoke with on Twitter told me that my school did not renew my plan and I had to get a redemption code from them which explains the charges. I promptly opted to cancel the plan to prevent further charges. Also, I have not had any programs installed or opened for over a year since my digital media course required it. He said because my plan was activated, but was not on any devices themselves that I should consult the billings department for multiple refunds (3 months worth).

Is there any way to contact someone about getting a refund so I know I was not led to some sort of dead end?

Hi Veronicak,

I would recommend contacting Adobe Customer Care via chat, since they are the only ones who might be able to issue a refund. To get to a real person, follow this link: Common billing questions, click the speech bubble icon at the lower right of your screen and type "agent" in the conversation pop-up window.

If that doesn't answer your question, please reply to this thread.

Hi DelphiZoa,

I tried this several times around the whole adobe site, but because I have an enterprise student account it just tells me to contact my university's administrator/IT.

It just bars me from using the chat at all which is why I went to Twitter for the initial support.
