Hi, I’m trying to purchase an Adobe Creative Cloud student membership, but I’m being told that the student plan is not available because my account region is set to Russia.

This is confusing because I originally registered my Adobe account in China, and I am currently living in the United States. I would like to use the student discount available in the U.S.

Could you please help me check why my account is showing Russia as my region and tell me how I can change my account country/region to the United States?

I’m also currently a student and can provide my student ID or any other documentation needed to verify my student status.

I’d really appreciate your help because I need access to the student plan for some projects I’m currently working on. Thank you!

    Hi Zealous_contributor3fd0,

I understand how confusing this can be, especially since you originally created your Adobe account in China and are now located in the United States.

After checking, we can see that your Adobe account is currently registered with Russia as the country/region. To access plans and offers available in the United States, including the student membership, you’ll first need to update the country/region associated with your Adobe account.

Please follow the steps in this Adobe Help article to change your account country/region:

    https://adobe.ly/46k3Yel

Once the country/region has been updated successfully, you should be able to purchase the appropriate subscription available for your location.

We hope this helps. If you run into any issues while changing your country/region, please let us know, and we’ll do our best to guide you further.

    Thanks
