Adobe CC icon keeps showing error alert sign on top menu bar of my screen

I'm unsure what the issue is here. I've updated everything and checked for any signs of error.

reset the cc desktop app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R
