Hello,

Before this inevitably gets taken down, allow me to vent about how Adobe is one of the worst companies to exist. When I first got into digtial media design in college, the CCS was pushed to every student so that we could complete projects.. IF you made the mistake of buying any app for a monthly fee, or assuming that you could cancel without paying an early cancellation fee, you're sorely mistaken. AND, AND, Adobe loves to do this thing where, upon trying to cancel your fee, they try to keep you paying for their service, so they offer you a discount price for the next few months, or even just a few months free! How sweet of them! Hey, I have an insane idea haha, why don't you just take the money that you wouldv'e lost giving me a discount/free months, and just [cursing removed] REFUND ME FOR THE TIME I AM NOT USING THE PROGRAM. Anyways, [cursing removed] thank you for the time 🙂

Same thing with me. Shady company with shady practices. Strange that a big tech company would opt for treating their customers this way. And the worst part, you can’t even talk with anyone, just their mediocre “AI assitant”

Made the mistake of signing up for Adobe Express which is the glitchiest product imaginable. They charged me on the last day of the subscription when I was going to cancel. You can’t of course cancel in advance. I had failed in my attempt when I could not penetrate their online labyrinth, including arguing belligerent AI that refused to help. I then phoned their customer service and was assured that my subscription was cancelled and would be refunded. When I still hadn’t been refunded, I phoned a second time where I was assured it was fixed, and that the subscription cancellation was indeed in process.  Of course,  I was subsequently charged twice again. It ended up that I had to go to my bank to end my affair with Adobe. Never again.

for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

if you want to cancel but are unable to follow the steps described in the "how to cancel page", you probably have a payment error that you need to repair before cancellation is allowed, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/fix-failed-missed-payment.html

well, pay attention. when you purchase an annual subscription paid monthly it's not much different than leasing an apartment.  ue, you're on the hook for one year.

Don't you think it's a little concerning that design software is locking you in like an appartment lease?

that ship (end of most perpetual licenses) sailed long ago.
