Can Creative Cloud Pro Individual be used for commercial work at a company?

I have a Creative Cloud Pro Individual plan that I personally purchased and pay for.

My situation is:

  • The Adobe account is my personal account.
  • The subscription is personally paid for by me.
  • I use my own personally owned laptop.
  • I am the only person using the account and the software.
  • I am an employee of a company.
  • Sometimes I use my personal laptop and my personal Adobe account at my workplace to create commercial work for my employer.

I would like to clarify two things:

  1. Does Creative Cloud Pro Individual include the right to use Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, etc. for commercial purposes?
  2. Can I legally use my personal Creative Cloud Pro Individual subscription on my personally owned laptop while working at my company?

I am specifically asking about the licensing terms for the Individual plan, not about Adobe Teams or Enterprise plans.

Is there an official Adobe document or Terms of Use that confirms this?

Yes you can. These are professional softwares and are meant to be used to create stuff that is to be used in a commercial setup. So unless you are violating any general terms of subscription like sharing your account with someone else you should be good.

    Am I allowed to create commercial work deliverables for my employer while I am at my workplace? Does this scenario inherently require a Teams or Enterprise plan from Adobe’s licensing perspective?

    Yes you are. The teams and business plans are mainly to ease the management of licenses. If you have a bigger team then managing so many individual subscriptions quickly becomes a hassle. Hence, those plans, where you can use things like reassign license, centrally manage license etc.
