Can you please explain what is the difference between these two apps on my Mac?

/Applications/Utilities/Adobe Creative Cloud/ACC/Creative Cloud.app AND /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Creative Cloud/Utils/Creative Cloud Desktop App.app

 

and for what are these 2 applications responsible for?

I'm guessing one is for online services and the other is for desktop apps. But that's only a guess.

 

Why does it matter?

they're probably the same (one being a backup for the other), but you can check that yourself.  are they?
