CC and all apps keep crashing

Creative Cloud desktop, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat keep crashing. The Creative Cloud app randomly opens when I don’t need it and crashes. Have uninstalled CC and all apps, and re-installed but still happening. I’m trying to download Acrobat again but it is stuck. It is affecting other apps too like Chrome and Word.

My laptop is brand new:

HP Probook
AMD Ryzen 7 7730U
16.0 GB (15.3 GB usable)
64-bit
137 GB of 477 GB used

Windows 11 Business version 25H2, fully up-to-date per Windows updater.

Had problems with it on my old laptop so was hoping that getting a new one would fix it all. I am unable to do half my job due to these issues.

Hey… I just posted about a somewhat similar issue regarding Illustrator like 10 mins ago. Reading your post reminded me, I had problems with Acrobat crashing on launch and not quitting properly as well (on top of the Illustrator not quitting / not responding issue I posted about). Both my OS (Windows 11 Pro) and Adobe CC are fresh installations as well. Acrobat crashed out a few times before it could launch and stay usable. I immediately switched back to the non-AI previous version, that might have helped as well. It seems to me all components embedded in these latest versions which need some internet access for panels and AI bloatware to function make everything else unresponsive.

Hi. CC and the apps were all freshly downloaded onto the new computer.

After a lot of trial and error I think that I have discovered it is some kind of clash with my browser and Adobe. The Adobe apps work fine on their own. My browser works fine on its own. If I run them at the same time then they crash and I keep having problems until I restart. It does the same with Chrome and Edge. The CC app corrupts every other day to the point where it has to be repaired/downloaded.

I get various different errors, but some of them say there is not enough memory… which is crazy as this is a decent new laptop with more than enough RAM and harddrive to cope with what I am using. I’m not doing anything crazy, just a few tabs on my browser, InDesign, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams.

I have followed a few suggestions I found online and none have helped.

I have noticed that in Task Manager some of the Adobe processes running say 32-Bit when I have a 64-Bit laptop. Don’t know if that is an issue.

Are there any known conflicts with browsers?

yes, opera is a problem and non-updated browsers of all types are problematic.
