I have just downloaded Adobe creative coud and installed Photoshop (version 25.9.1). When I try to open photoshop I get the error mesage "Could not initialize Photoshop because of a program error".

I am using a MacBook Pro 2020 with MacOS Sonoma 14.5. Both photoshop and my mac are up to date.

Thak you for all your suggestions. I managed to solve the issue by running the CC Cleaner, as per the instructions here: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html

Yes, my PC meets the specs, but nothing worked. I went back to version 25.7 for now. When the Adobe team solves the problem with another update I'll try that out. But thanks for your time.

Maybe it's because of a fresh installation of my system. I installed the newest update of creative cloud on a clean computer. After uninstalling Photoshop via the app I don't get a creative cloud update. A reboot doesn't fix this either. I tried to install Photoshop again, succesfully, but the program won't start.

I am glad with you kglad. I am trying it out right now. And no, Photoshop won't open. The update of creative cloud was not available either. Maybe I need to restart my computer first. I come back to you...

I have the same problem on a Windows 10 PC. I hope Adobe will solve this problem soon. Good luck with that.
