Creative Cloud app not launching at login in macOS 26 (preference correctly set in the app)

As per the subject, I have recently noticed some strange behaviour in the CC app in that it is not launching at login in macOS 26. Going into the app's preferences, unsetting the Run at login option > Close, then setting it again has no effect.

Is there a specific file, a plist perhaps, that is governing this through the 'runAtLoad' property?

If so, where should I find that file? It is not in ~Library/LaunchAgents.

What can I do?

Thank you!

Dear David__B,

thank you for your feedback. I had ignored kglad's suggestion because I didn't say that the app wasn't able to run, just to auto-launch at login. I think I found the issue, though. Since I'm having other issues with macOS Tahoe, Apple Support made me erase all launch agents and daemons from the System Library (Adobe CC's one is in there). It seems that while plists in the user library are recreated at login (or at least when the app is launched), plists in the system library are gone until the app is updated (or reinstalled).

I restored the missing plist from a Time Machine backup and it is now working as expected.

Hi @Inélsòre

Outside of the suggestions from kglad

I reached out to our developers and they tested the launch at log-in feature was working for them on macOS 26. If you're still facing the issue they would need log files from your system to further investigate the issue https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/apps/troubleshoot/diagnostics-repair-tools/run-log-collector-tool.html
