Creative Cloud Desktop Overlay NOT Skipable

WHAT IS THIS ADOBE? Seriously! Is this some bizarre joke?

I cannot skip it, cancel it or opt out. Neither can I use the app to install or change ANY of my applications - Unless I accept this. I do NOT want to download & install this Beta. Not even a cancel button. This is an unethical way to force people to install something they do NOT want!!!

I want a choice. I want to decide WHAT I install on my Computer. This makes me VERY angry! Why do you do this?

Hi @Matthias23639988tgif , sorry about this. We will never force our members to install a beta app. The lack of contrast with the dismiss button got missed in our review. As @kglad pointed out, you can use the escape key. We've now updated the asset so the button is more visible (see screenshot). Lastly, we'll be adding a more explicit option to skip in an upcoming release.

I had to zoom way in to see the X, but sure enough it exists! Thanks for the quick fix Kalvyn!

the "x" is more visible in the op's post, but it needed to be made more visible, so glad that's done.

i have to say, i'm not sure why there's not an obvious "x" to close that (but glad you got it off your screen).

Thank you for the information kglad! It is much appreciated.

In my eyes this is an example of a dark-pattern design which is a deceptive trick. Adobe should and can do better than this! Any option to cancel is hidden. This is NOT okay.
