Creative Cloud icon missing from menu bar of my Mac!

The Creative Cloud icon is missing from menu bar of my Mac.

I got a message saying there was an update, and when I clicked it the icon went away. When I try to open the app manually the icon hovers on the menu bar, greyed out, then disappears - can anyone help?

My icon was missing from the upper bar (I clicked on it to stop it from downloading something and it disappeared). I got it back by going into Applications > Adobe Creative Cloud and then clicking on the red Adobe Creative Cloud icon
