Creative cloud stays on screen after auto login after Mac startup

I had to re-install Creative Cloud recently. I have Creative Cloud in my Startup group on my Mac Studio. Before the re-install it would auto login and run in the background with the Creative Cloud icon displayed in the menu bar at the top of the screen. Now, after re-install the Creative Cloud app window stays open on my desktop. How do I make it go away? I've looked in Preferences and couldn't find anything about this.

just close (x) it.  it should minimize to your menu bar.

I know that. Before my re-install it would automatically minimize to my menu bar. Now I have to click on the X. I want it to automatically minimize again. There must be a setting somewhere.
