Question

CVE-2025-55130, Node.js, and Creative Cloud Desktop

We’re using version 6.8.1.865 (January 2026), which is the latest release as of this writing.  Our vulnerability management solutions are flagging this due to NVD - CVE-2025-55130 with a critical score of 9.1 for Node.js.

 

 

How can I remediate this in our environment?

    you can replace with an update if you’re concerned.

    Thanks for the response.  How do you update the version without breaking Cloud Desktop?

    back up current node.js

    replace with latest 

    test for problems 

    etc
