Empty NGL folders keep being created

Creative Cloud 6.8.1.861 under macOS 26.3.1: empty folders named ngl keep being created in /Users/Shared, typically within a day after I delete their predecessor.  Is there a way to keep this from happening?

I asked this question in an Apple macOS forum, and was told that it was related to Adobe Creative Cloud Next Generation Licensing.  Can anyone here (or Adobe) help?  Again, is there a way to keep this from happening?
