Error - creative cloud failed to start CoreSync

I am trying to install Lightroom Classic on a Mac Mini, M1 running Max OS Ventura 13.2.1. Both the creative cloud and lightroom applications download but when I open either the following error messages appears:

failed to start CoreSync

Could not create ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync

I have given access permissions to both Lightroom and Creative Cloud apps under Privacy and Security settings but no effect.

Apologies if this has been asked before but I have searched the forums without success.

thanks in advance

Mike

Problem resolved with the help of technical support. The issue was solved by giving read and write permissions to the anode folder with the application support folder.

restart your computer and then try opening lightroom.

Hi

Thanks for the suggestion. In fact I have tried both restarting and reinstalling but same issue. I should add that lightroom opens but just displays a blank grey screen and locks up plus I can only close it using the force quit command
