After installing macOS Tahoe 26.1 and Adobe Creative Cloud on a clean system, I noticed that all my external drives show custom Adobe style icons in the Finder sidebar. The icons appear only in the sidebar. They do not appear on the desktop, and they do not appear in the information window for each drive. They should look like the standard orange drive icon of macOS.
I would like to understand why this is happening and how I can remove these Adobe-related graphics from the Finder sidebar. I prefer to keep the default macOS icons for my drives. How can I revert this, and why is it always and only Adobe who's just giving his hard-paying customers [cursing removed]?
