Hidden Creative Cloud Library taking up huge storage on C Drive

Hi all

I have been having a lot of trouble lately with my C: drive running extremely low on space (Sometimes up to 500MB left of 118GB). After doing some digging, I found that the below folder was taking up 25GB of storage:

C:\Users\Jemma\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Creative Cloud Libraries\LIBS\500C14A2610C5C9A0A495C3C_51302457610c5c99495e52.e\links

Within this folder was about 6000 files, which look like all of my past Adobe Stock downloads/licences?

I deleted everything in the folder, which temporarily resolved the low storage issue, but within an hour, the files self generated and I was back to no storage space again!

I have set my Creative Cloud location to 😧 drive, which has a lot more storage, but this folder keeps self generating in to my C: drive. It causes my apps (even Google Chrome..) to crash daily, and I have tried everything I can think to resolve.

Please if somebody can help can you send a resolution!

Thank you

Jemma

**PROBLEM SOLVED**

After trying every way under the sun it's finally resolved.

In Adobe Stock, there was a box selected which allowed all downloads (ever) to also save to my creative cloud library (as well as download to my machine).... this was then filling up my creative cloud library.

I still don't know why it was syncing to a folder on my desktop, but after deleting everything in 'my library' in CC it has stopped syncing to the folder!

use a web browser to navigate to https://assets.adobe.com. at each location there are several folders/link to check.:

https://assets.adobe.com

download anything you want to a non cc related folder and then delete.

if you delete anything from any of these locations, check for a deleted folder where your file(s) was (were) moved. if you want to clear space you must delete files in the deleted folder. the used storage shown at each of those four sites (when totaled), should match the space shown used by your cc files.

if not use your mobile cc app to check for mobile generated saves.

Thank you for this - I didn't even know that space existed!

I've deleted all of my files from there, including deleted from the deleted folder too.

I've checked the 'libs' folder again this morning, and it has filled back up again with all of the files! Feel like I am losing my mind with this.. I think I will just have to resort in manually deleting everything in the folder every day.

Thank you for getting back to me.

Does this mean that the folder should stop re-creating itself from tomorrow (1st October)?

i'm not privvy to your account details, so i can't say.  do you have renamed sync folder now?

The Creative Cloud Files folder will no longer be hidden when you sign out of Creative Cloud. The folder will be renamed to Creative Cloud Files + <account type> + <profile_name> + <email> + <GUID> (for example: Creative Cloud Files Personal Account email@abc.com ####@AdobeID). You can rename the folder as you see fit.
