how to recover a file on which another document has been saved

Hi all, thanks for your possible help in advance.

I forgot to save the new file as a different file and wrote on the previous one, meaning I lost the previous file. Now I can't bring it back. Is there a way to do it?

no, not if it's overwritten.

in the future, get in the habit of appending an increasing version number to your file names to prevent this.
