Images stuck in synching mode

I'm relatively new to LrC and I save all my images on a WD external hard drive. I have 2 images that just won't stop synching, but there's no apparent way for me to identify which images are stuck synching. Can anyone help me? And what are the causes of this? How can I fix or avoid in the future? Many thx.

reset the cc desktop app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

CC desktop indicates that it is synched. It's Lightroom Classic on my Mac that is not successfully synching. I did it nevertheless just in case after quitting LrC and re-opening LrC after resetting CC... Still synching. Main problem for me is not knowing which images are stuck in the pipeline.

use a web browser to navigate to the following locations. at each location there are several folders/link to check.:

https://lightroom.adobe.com

if you delete anything from any of these locations, check for a deleted folder where your file(s) was (were) moved. if you want to clear space you must delete files in the deleted folder. the used storage shown at each of those four sites (when totaled), should match the space shown used by your cc files.
