Inconsistent Multilingual Input Behavior Across Creative Cloud Applications

I have been experiencing inconsistent behavior when using multilingual input (especially Japanese IME) across several Creative Cloud applications such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.

The same OS and IME settings produce different results depending on the application. Examples include unexpected mode switching, premature text commitment, or differences in how the composition state is handled.

This makes multilingual input difficult to use reliably in a Creative Cloud workflow.

I would like to know if:

• this is a known issue

• there are any recommended settings for stable multilingual input

• the behavior differences between applications are expected
