Is there a way for a Creative Cloud link to automatically open the desktop app and not the web app?

My team is exploring using the Creative Cloud more to share creative files. One issue we have is if you want to send a link to a file, it automatically opens in the web browser, not the desktop app. Is there a way to mitigate this workflow?

I know for PS online files you can open them locally using the first option (Open) from the flyout menu. Please see the screenshot for reference.

after downloading, clicking the fla opens the browser?
