It does not open photoshop, illustrator and indesign. Macbook Pro

Hi,

It does not open Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign (it stays blocked and you have to force quit), however, After Effect and Premiere do open.

All creative cloud applications are up to date.

Had the same issue, The 3 apps you mentioned stuck and not responding but AE worked.

Deleted all corresponding adobe clear out files in the library folders, fresh CC install, still didn't work.

BUT I did have a sneaky media encoder beta app installled when i installed AE again after the fresh install. Deleted that, restarted computer, and we're up and running again!

@burroshooter

use the cc desktop app to uninstall (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html)

uninstall all betas

test if problem's resolved

if not, uninstall problematic apps, restart your computer and reinstall the problematic apps.

All the discussions about deleting and reinstalling apps puts a lot of effort on the users. The focus should be not on us, but on adobe to solve this problem. It's their applications that we're using from the web that is causing us the issues. They should provide the resolution not relying on a series of Standard options from their AI chat.

@keystonejim

That is, It is ADOBE who must solve it without user intervention.

I uninstalled the beta versions and Illustrator opened right up. Something is not right with any of the beta versions. Hope they get it fixed.

If it happens to so many people it is a clear CC problem. I have already sent reports to Adobe and they should provide a solution. Once again, Adobe's poor support service is clear. The standard solution to any problem is to uninstall and reinstall.

Agreed. We're paying money for their product but they leave it up to the community (us) to figure out the problem. They should be better at customer support. Way better.

test.  if the problem's resolved, you can probably reinstall the betas, but waiting a bit would be prudent.

Same issue here. Everything was fine last evening (8/6) then nothing worked today. Treid restarting, turning off and restarting, restarting with SHIFT on my Macbook Pro (Monterey). All apps up to date. I even tried signing out of CC and signing back in. Nothing worked. Was on a chat for 45 minutes this afternoon before I closed it. No one answered. SERIOUS BUG. Yes, using both beta apps and normal apps. Nothing works with InDesign or Photoshop. Have not tried others.

Same here. It's driving me crazy all day! None of them are opening. I have uninstalled reinstalled Illustrator  to see if this was the problem with no success. Restarted my Mac a few times and made usre it was upto date. Checked for updates on the cloud. Hope a solution is found soon.
