Log Transport error

Hi All.

Recently a client of ours started seeing this error when she tries to shutdown her computer.  "Logtransport2.exe has unexpectedly quit".  It doesn't happen all the time, however when it does the laptop freezes.  She has to physically shut the machine down.

I spoke to Adobe and they to unintall the application completely.  We did that including reinstalling Create Cloud as well.  She still sees the issue from time to time.  Anyone have thoughts on how to resolve or has anyone seen this?

Thanks,

Hi All, thanks for the input.  I referenced that site before tecklyfe, and her account was not opted into any data collecting from the site point of view.  Were also not trying to uninstall CC.  I guess now CC is required when you have a paid license version.  Seems you have to install the Adobe app through CC.  From what I have read CC is what creates the process.

If the exe has bugs, I'm trying to figure out how to basically disable it from running so the user doesn't see the issue anymore.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

you can disable the background processes.  other posts have offered executables that do that.

if you're trying to remove everything adobe cc:

uninstall every cc app including preferences per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, again using the correct uninstaller per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-messaging

finally, clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer.
