PS on other drive than :C

I've always installed Photoshop on a separate drive to boost performance.

Suddenly with Win 11 I can't do it. When I mark the disc I prefer, it says something like "impossible to install to root search directory".

And by the way, I also want Lightroom Classic on that particular drive.

Why is this suddenly impossible,  Adobe?
