Red Triangle on the cloud icon Creative Cloud App (MacOS Sonoma)

Hi,

I have one and off, for a long time had a red triangle over the Cloud icon in the Creative Cloud App (also often over the menubar icon).

I have done as have been sugested to other people Opt+Cmd+R and also killed off all the extensions, I have looked in the ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions which is alread empty.

It is very anoying as there is nothing one can do to remove it when it's first there - and there is no indicaton of what is wrong.

Please fix your software.

Correct answer casperghst42

I do not have anything in my Creative Cloud folder except for _Cloud documents.webloc.

But I think I found the problem which is very strange, I had to sign out and back in to get it to update to the latest version (it already updated once earlier today). After the update (or sign-out/-in) the triange is gone.

Adobe should do something about these probelmes and maybe not make Creative Cloud Sync a mandatory thing (I do not need it).

Thank you.

your path is indicated in your cc desktop preferences.  ie, it can be different for different users because it's customizable so check your app, but default location is, /Users/<Username>/Creative Cloud Files

the renamed sync file is, Creative Cloud Files + <account type> + <profile_name> + <email> + <GUID> (for example: Creative Cloud Files Personal Account email@abc.com ####@AdobeID).

What would the path be?

In Application Support/Adobe I only have a "CoreSync" folder.
