suddenly a few week ago the current version of Photoshop disappeared; along with my patterns and other presets. How do I get them back

Photoshop disappeared from my current version of the full Adobe suite.  I was using the most up to date version and when I tried installing the latest version of PS my patterns and other functioning disappeared.  I really need this fixed asap please. I did try to follow instructions from similar problem years ago but I find I cannot do it (I have a brain condition which makes some things very difficult to process).

when updating to a major version change you have the option to remove previous versions.did you do that?and check your install folder with your file explorer.
