Unable to Install - Error 44 - No Retry Button as suggested in faq

Question

Hello,

two days ago I got a weird error when starting creative cloud.

Sth about Microsoft Visual c++,

I thought I might have a bad file so I reinstalled that but then creative cloud and the apps still diidnt start.

So I deinstalled all of creative cloud and the apps to reinstall them hoping to make it work again, but since then whenever I try to install creative cloud or one of the apps like Photoshop or premiere pro directly I get this error and I just don't know what to do.

I have a Video to finish soon and I really need this to work...

If anyone had this and solved it before I would be truly grateful, because I don't know what to do anymore.

Here are some more things I tried:
I uninstalled the apps using the windows programm uninstaller

I deleted the adobe folder (thought it might not be able to create new ones when theres one there already)

I reinstalled Microsoft Visual C++ (This might not be related but it showed up at the same time with adobe not working anymore)

Pc Info if relevant:
OS: Win11 pro

Cpu: Ryzen 7 5800X

Gpu: ROG Strix 1080Ti

Ram: 32GB 3200mhz DDR4

We understand you're encountering issues with the installation of Adobe software on your system. To address this, please follow the steps outlined below:
1. Please verify if the directory "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Desktop Common" exists on your machine. If it does, manually delete this directory. Following deletion, utilize the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner tool or the uninstaller tool to remove other files as well. Subsequently, attempt the installation process again.
2. Check the permission of Dir "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files". Please refer to the attached screenshot showcasing the expected permissions for this directory. If permissions are not same as attached screen please fix this.
3. As an additional step, attempt to manually create a new directory within "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files". You should be able to execute this action with administrative privileges. If you encounter any issue in this process, it indicates potential permission issues pertaining to the "Common Files" directory. We advise addressing these permission issues promptly.

That was the right clue!

With this I managed to find the cause:
The "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Desktop Common" File seemed to be corrupted or so:

I got the " Error 0x80070570" when I tried to delete it.

#- Even unlocker and Del /F didn't do anything.

-> I fixed it by booting into safemode and then deleting the File

(I deleted the whole Adobe file in /common Files just to be safe cause another file was un-deletable as well)

-> Afterwards I used both the uninstaller and Cccleaner just to be safe as well.

Now I was able to install Creative cloud again and am currently downloading premiere pro and photoshop to finish my project .. on time hopefully

(Tonight there will be no sleep xD)

I hope this might help others if they get the same problem.

After many hours. I found there were folders with direct access in the Adobe Folder. Those folders with direct access didnt go anywere I dont know if they were from other versions so I deleted them and it worked
