Question

When Adobe will Ask before starting update?

It would be appreciated if Adobe informed of the existence of a new version in any of its programs before starting the update automatically. It is very annoying to open, for example, Photoshop and have to wait for the manager to finish the update process. A simple "ask next time" would be ideal.

As other programs already do 😞

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

the update notifications popup outside the app. impossible (imo) to miss.  try it and let us know if you think it should be improved.

You can set a preference in the Creative Cloud app to not automatically update.

Thanks @Peru Bob but I suggested something more similar what Figma already does: when program starts it notifies us that there is an update and offers the possibility of updating or not. If I disable automatic updates, I will surely lose some.

no, setting your preferences to not automatically update does not stop the notifications that updates are available. ie, when updates are available, you are notified by the cc desktop app.
