Why does Adobe Crash Processor keep running?

Why does Adobe Crash Processor (ACP) keep running and producing lots of crash logs. I reported this about a year ago and there have been lots of updates since then but the problem still persists. I’m using the latest versions of the Cloud stuff and of LR (classic), PS, BR, and ACR. I can stop it by renaming all the instances of ACP so they can’t run, but at the next update they get replaced with no cure.

In Windows Resource Monitor. I use it frequently to keep an eye on what LR Classic is doing in the background and after closing it. I’ve noted about 5 instances of ACP in different folders of the CC Mess. Those in Ps and Br haven’t run to my knowledge, but the one in LR Classic has run. The main offenders are the ones in ….\Adobe Creative Cloud\ACC and in ….\Adobe Desktop Common\ADS. When running they continually produce ….Heartbreak… files which pile up.

I assume it runs when something crashes. I sent off a big log crash report to Adobe last year, but heard nothing and nothing has changed since.
