1TB Storage Option for CC All Apps?

I have the CC All Apps plan and was quite dismayed that there does not seem to be a 1TB cloud storage upgrade, like with the Photography Plan. As I am both a photographer and graphic designer, I need to use more than just Photoshop and Lightroom, and having the increased storage would be very beneficial when it comes to editing my photos on multiple platforms.   It's something I've been waiting for for quite some time, hence my disappointment.  Why were the All Apps subscribers not even given the option to upgrade to 1TB?

It is 2024 and this problem still seems to exist. I pay annually for the All Apps CC platform which includes a measly 100GB, plus I pay monthly for the 1TB storage. With CC sync going away on Feb 1st (two days time) I have moved all my design files to my Dropbox 2TB storage (which I pay for), but I still need to keep paying for my CC 1TB storage so that Lightroom has a place to backup to. Problem with CC storage is I don't know how to access this from outside of Lightroom. I have only used 39% of my storage, yet if I want to save design files there instead of Dropbox, I don't know how.

@bread_first

use a web browser to navigate to the following locations. at each location there are several folders/link to check.  (the 2nd link is your lr storage site.)

https://assets.adobe.com

https://lightroom.adobe.com

https://documentcloud.adobe.com

https://spark.adobe.com

if you delete anything from any of these locations, check for a deleted folder where your file(s) was (were) moved. if you want to clear space you must delete files in the deleted folder. the used storage shown at each of those four sites (when totaled), should match the space shown used by your cc files.

Thank you for these links and this explaination. That iis helpful!

I find the storage management for Adobe to be so disparate and confusing to navigate. The Adobe CC desktop app doesn't allow you to easily navigate to these four areas (at least not to my knowledge), and Adobe Bridge (as far as I understand) looks at localized files only and not Cloud files. Are there tutorials that you (or anyone reading) are aware of that explain best practices for file management and access between these apps? I think I am mainly feeling lost for these two reasons:

  1.  Adobe CC sync folders are disappearing
  2. Lighroom file storage functions so separately, yet shares the same storage. When I use Lightroom to upload RAW and Jpeg photos off my Fujifilm mirrorless, it's easy to forget to upload video files before formating the card. When I do upload video files, where is the best location to save out of camera video files now that the sync folder has dissappeared?

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read and/or answer this 🙂

Seems they have realized their mistake and are rushing to fix. 2 support calls and both said upgrading was not an option and the web page to upgrade is not available for everyone yet..

Waiting patiently for my account page to get the option

"Seems they have realized their mistake and are rushing to fix."

Where did you get this information? I am also guessing it is true, but a clear statement from Adobe about when, where, and how this is going to be fixed would really help. The page that allows you to enter a credit card and order storage seems to work but it is not clear that this does not require manual intervention at Adobe to integrate it with Lightroom CC and the rest of your plan... and I don't want to spend another hour and a half with clueless agents and a day and half waiting for an escalation Senior Agent to respond. Also on that page the link to cancellation terms is broken!?!?!

The difference between how Apple takes care of its customers and Adobe is extraordinary. Too much marketing B-School nonsense leading to a byzantine plan structure that web designers can't cope with. Need to focus on how to add value to the customer's experience.

Indeed. The 100GB in my current plan make it impossible for me to use Lightroom CC in the long term. So, why should I even start using it now under these circumstance?

Yeah this makes no sense. If you buy the cheap plan you can get 1TB of storage, but if you buy the expensive all-inclusive plan you are stuck with room for a few photos only with no option to upgrade.

I guess Adobe does not want to take our money?
