20GB storage full, only with Smart Previews

Hi everyone,

I posted this several years ago, but didn't get any reply: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-ecosystem-cloud-based-discussions/questions-on-cloud-storage-local-copies-and-quot-synced-and-backed-up-quot-filter/m-p/13830250#M79462

Things are getting worse: my 20GB storage is now full even though I use the Lightroom cloud only for synchronizing Smart Previews. How can I remove the "ghost" content and recover space?

I have less than 10 files there (under 100MB total)

I have more than 90k pictures in Lightroom, but these are supposed to be Smart Previews uploaded from Lr Classic

My iPhones do upload automaticallty full-size pictures and videos to the Lightroom. However, I regularly move these files out of the cloud with Lr Classic, but moving the physical file in a local folder and emptying the Lr Mobile collection where iPhone files are automatically added. When I do this, a message asks me if I want to keep these files in "All synchronized pictures, and I always reply "No". So at this point, full-size files should be deleted from the cloud. I think Lr Classic failed to delete them the last time I did this.

How can I delete these files? Thanks

for the files you moved or deleted did you check your deleted folder?
