Adobe CC Library assets lock/unlock?

Hi all,

 

 is there a way to lock/unlock assets stored in a Library? I found -  the hard way - it's very easy to change a stored color by mistake, and would like to prevent that...

I wondered is this might help:

The owner of the library should be able to designate whether the share recipients has EDIT or VIEW rights. If they select VIEW that should essentially lock it and prevent edits but still allow use. In my screen shot you can see where the owner should have options to set it.

I have the same question. Our libraries keep getting accidentally modified and I would like a way to prevent this.

    I would also like to be able to lock my team of designers from adding things to libraries. Can we lock a master library? It should be an important feature to have.
