Adobe Fonts not activating

Hello everyone,

 

I’ve activated some fonts in my account but for some reason they’re not showing as active in the font activation status within the Desktop app (The window displays the default “Fill this space with fonts…etc” even though fonts are active ). I can’t activate from within Illustrator or InDesign either. I’ve gone through all the steps I could find online to correct this to no avail.

 

Anyone have any ideas. I’m on Windows 10 64bit.

Hey, so I noticed nobody said any answers to this problem, and I may not have a great solution but this worked for me and I figured someone would at least like a possible answer.

Now, my issue was slightly different, in that when I went to Manage Fonts> from the Apps menu/tab, it would just eternally load or not show anything like a blank grey space (after I had activated fonts from the Adobe website).

So, I finally messed around in Creative Cloud and went to the Help>Check for updates> and it just loaded the entire app/everything became a grey box with a loading screen.

The whole screen comes back and suddenly my activated fonts are there. It's not much, but at least it's something. Hope this helped anyone.

Just desactivate font service in CC preferences then wait a few second and re-activate font service. It might come back.

I ran the latest update, which is supposed to fix the bugs, deactivated and reactivated fonts -- so far, so good.

Seems the issue continue in 2020. I don't know what to do... crossed fingers like someone said here.

Did you have to install an update? How did you get your fonts to start working again. One of the main fonts I hav used for most of my company documents will not load. Tried everything.

I'm having the same problem. Windows 10 is updated, i uninstalled creative cloud and installed again, sign in and nothing works again. and my billing is up to date. 

 

Any one found the solution?

Same problem ... I can't seem to get activated Adobe Fonts on my desktop. Is there some preference that needs to be checked?

Looks like it’s been fixed. Adobe, who do I invoice for wasting 8 hours of my time?

Having the same issue, i thought it was an account/billing issue but apparently lots of people are having the same issue!

Also cannot install or update any app at the moment - getting Error 183. No fix i could find helps... tried everything.

 

Only signed up yesterday, but now regretting it.

I'm having the same issue. Logged out, restarted computer logged back in and am getting that "Fill this space with fonts ... "thing too. I previously had some fonts that were activate in there but couldn't get anything new to show up.

 

Mac running 10.14.6, Indesign 2020
