Adobe photoshope or Illustrator which one is good?

I am running a blog about sports. I want to design images for my website Please tell which one will be a good option for me. I am a newbie and knows very fewer about both of the software. Please help me someone out there.

They're both pro-level tools for experienced users. The learning curve can be quite steep.

Photoshop is for pixel-based raster images: realistic full color graphics, product images and photos.

Illustrator is for math-based vector graphics: logos, icons, text, infographics, flat-colored cartoons, comics, drawings and illustrations.

Use the right tools for the job. Or hire an experienced web graphics designer to help you.
