ADOBE PORTFOLIO - Caption settings not working

Hello, I wasn't sure where to post Adobe Portfolio inquiries, so I'm hoping someone here can help!

I noticed today when going to edit my site that a few of the caption settings were not working. For example, I was unable to change the text color, bold/italics, or add a hyperlink.

The problem is present on both Google Chrome and Safari, so it's not the browser. I tried restarting my computer as well. Nothing's working. Is anyone else having this bug, or is this just something I should wait out for them to fix? Or email someone about it?

If anyone has had this problem and knows how to fix it, please let me know! This is driving me insane. Thanks.

I think I may understand the problem but perhaps this has already been resolved.

Click on the page you want to change the caption of.

From the editing list on the left, under 'this page', go to 'edit page info'. This should bring up the 'page description', with the editable caption text. Type in your new caption here.

I hope this helps someone.

Regards,

Grainne

Which Theme are you using?  Site captions or text captions?

Text styles are usually controlled by your theme's site-wide settings.

Hi there, I have the same issue and neither of the posted links directly address the question.

@Kent Ericksen,

You haven't given us much to go on.  Please be more specific.

  • Which browser(s) are you using?
  • Which Portfolio Theme?
  • Which captions  -- please post a URL to the page in question and explain a little more about what you're trying to do.
