Adobe portfolio home page navigation to sub-categories

've created some collections with subcategories and linked these to my home page. I want o be able to navigate directly to the page that has thumbnails of each of my sub categories. Instead it navigates to the Collection, then I need to click on that page to take me to the sub categories. Is there any way I can click on the category listed on the homepage e.g. "Birdlife" which then takes me directly to the sub-category page which shows "Seabirds", "Birds of Prey" etc?
