Adobe Portfolio publishing issues

Hi!

I am trying to publish my portfolio through Adobe Portfolio under my student account but it won't let me do so without paying. It keeps asking to "Upgrade Your Plan" when I already have a student plan that should cover the cost of my portfolio. I have friends who used this and didn't have to pay but the site won't let me continue to publish it without asking to change or upgrade my plan. How do I combat this?

Thank you!

@Colin28915259mmlg,

Check with your school's IT dept to ensure that your school's plan includes Portfolio/Behance.

Some school plans don't because Portfolio & Behance are not COPPA compliant.

If this is a personal plan that you pay directly to Adobe, be sure you're logged-in to your PAID Creative Cloud plan ID (email).

Your Account: https://account.adobe.com/plans

Link to Portfolio: https://portfolio.adobe.com

Hope that helps.

Thank you everyone who replied! I contacted my schools IT and Adobe help center and apparently I had both a school and personal account so I was paying for two subscriptions per year!

Adobe cancelled my personal CC subscription so now it is just a waiting game for to see if Adobe Portfolio will transfer my old Portfolio to my school subscription.

To anyone who may be having the same problems I have, I would get in touch with Adobe Support. They helped me resolve this issue.

Hi @Colin28915259mmlg Portfolio is available via the student account. I've seen this error before specifically on student accounts, but have not seen an accepted answer/solution.

Did you purchase CC on your own or did you get it through the school?

If your account is managed by the school, they may not have the publishing options active in the Admin console. In that case, you'd need to contact your admin/IT to see what they can do.

If you purchased this on your own with your student email - try the solutions listed on this page

https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/stop-creative-cloud-trial-mode-after-purchase.html

The other option is to contact the Portfolio Support team here:

I think it was through the school but I'll try the links you sent! Thank you!

@Colin28915259mmlg if it was through the school - the only option you have is to contact your School IT Admin to allow publishing for Portfolio. They have it turned off at the Account level.
