Adobe Portfolio Question

On my landing page I have two paragraphs of text. I simply want to add a space in between 2 paragraphs. Each time I add it and click off of the box, the program automatically links the paragraphs together.
Can this be avoided?

Use <br> immediately after the text. Works like a charm.

What's the URL?
Which Theme are you using?
Have you tried Shift + Enter to insert a line break?
Are you using a Masthead?
