Adobe Portfolio won't let me edit grid

I'm attempting to build a website in Adobe Portfolio for the first time and I'm trying to add photos to the grid but can't figure out how. I've searched and everything says its as simple as hovering over the grid and clicking the pencil icon to edit, and when I hover over any other section (logo, navigation, etc.) it shows the edit/pencil option, but when I hover over the grid I can't get a pencil to appear. Is there something I need to do or enable to allow me to add images to the grid?

Gallery Covers are automatically created when you create a new project page.

To edit Cover details, click on the page you want to edit.

Hope that helps.
