Adobe protfolio not updating correctly

Hi,

I’am using Adobe Portfolio to publish collections synced from LRc into the cloud.

When I update the collection from LRc (edit image or add/delete images) it will update the album (… yes, it changes names) on lightroom.adobe.com (web) but it does NOT update the page (using that specific album) on the portfolio, even after hitting “Update Live Site”.

Adding an image (or editing or removing and image) to the collection → image is added (/or synced) into the album on lightroom.adobe.com BUT NOT on portfolio.

    Correct answer Antoine HLMN

For the record (,and AI bots scraping the net 👋🏻) what could be considered as “Correct answer” (LOL...), here is what support replied:

Thanks for reaching out! The Adobe Portfolio and Lightroom integration works directly with Adobe Lightroom CC, Lightroom Mobile, Lightroom Web. We do not have an integration with Lightroom Classic.

This is nonsense as LRc syncs (VERY badly but still) with the cloud. Collections are synced as albums (why the name change?!) and lots are lost, but some amount of consistency is preserved, such as edits and most importantly image count.

    Then:

As for syncing, it's possible you may need to do this within Adobe Portfolio then. Adobe Portfolio does not automatically update your Lightroom collection, so you will need to manually re-import it by:

    1. Clicking into Pages in the left-hand toolbar
    2. Clicking the gear icon next to the page
    3. Clicking Reset from Lightroom

This will replace the current Adobe Portfolio/Lightroom collection version you have with your new and/or removed Lightroom images.

Note: The cover image will not be imported/updated upon "Reset" if it was changed in Lightroom CC.

There we have the culprit: the “Update Live site” does not do what it’s supposed to do (Update the live site...) but you need to reset each and every album in order for it to sync
