I got the Substance Apps for students, but why does it say it wants 285 €/ yr, when it's supposed to be free for students, as far as i understood.
Adobe won't try to charge me 285 Euros after a year, would they?

it is/was available free to certain students/educaters (check the faq), but you must go through adobe's process to qualify, https://substance3d.adobe.com/education/

that is exactly what i did. Thats why i'm confused.
And it seemed to worked. i filled out some stuff and got a license in the end. I also wasn't ask to choose a payment method or something, because i assumed, i shouldn't need to pay.

@mirinna

why?  did you receive a bill?

ie, just because the value of your subscription is listed (as expected), doesn't mean you paid (or will be billed) that.

Nothing is FREE.  Somebody must pay for it. 😕😕

Student rates to Creative Cloud for $20/month do NOT include access to Substance 3D Suite.

Substance is a separate subscription.

Hope that helps.

If it was free, it would be provided by your school.

Check with the administrator of Adobe accounts at your school to see if your school offers it for free.
